What are Snaptraxx?
Snaptraxx are designed to replace traditional carpeted bunk systems for boat trailers and reduce scratching and wear and tear to your hull. Snaptraxx provide ease of loading and unloading your boat at the ramp and are designed to suit most boat hulls whether it be a Wakeboard Boat, Ski Boat, Fishing Boat or Pleasure Boat.
Why are they better than standard trailer bunks?
Every time you reverse your boat off the trailer at the boat ramp, your propeller churns up sand and grit which in turn lands on your carpeted bunks. Over time your carpet becomes abrasive and leaves scratches on your hull. Snaptraxx have a smooth surface and feature drainage channels so there is nowhere for sand or grit to get caught, it all washes away reducing scratching. Additionally carpet wears down over time and can be laborious to replace. Snaptraxx are resilient to wear and tear and will far outlast any carpeted bunk system. Carpeted bunks stay wet against your hull for a long amount of time which can eventually result in rotten timbers, whereas Snaptraxx dries and drains quickly and efficiently.
